The Heart Surgery Center in the Israel's Medical Center is one of the most advanced in the world.  Cardiology treatment has been undergoing a significant transformation in the way is delivered to patients. Until recently, treatment of heart patients were divided into cases specific treatments: treatment by a cardiologist or recommended for intervention by a surgeon. Current technology enables "crossing of disciplines", i.e. concurrent treatment of the heart patient by both the cardiologist and the heart surgeon.

The Heart Surgery Center conducts routine valve replacement surgery. However, it also provides heart valve surgery using the "minimally invasive" approach.  In these procedures, heart valves are repaired through a very small incision, on the side of the chest, without need for a long central chest incision. . There is not only the cosmetic result after this operation, the most important that the post-surgery recovery rate have a significant improvement in comparison to the more routine surgery.

The patient would enjoy a highly efficient treatment based on cooperation between the heart surgeon and electro-physiologist, which dramatically improves success rates and the patient's quality of life.
